sophie turner sansa stark game of thrones season 4 'Game of Thrones' Season 4: Sophie Turner says Sansa uses her 'femininity' as a weaponAccording to Sophie Turner, Sansa Stark will start standing up for herself in “Game of Thrones” Season 4. The prisoner of the Lannisters and wife to Tyrion has been held captive in King’s Landing for almost three seasons now, and she hasn’t been idle during that time.

“She’s learned a ton. She’s learned how to manipulate, definitely. You haven’t really seen it yet, but I’m sure in the future you will be seeing that,” Turner tells Zap2it. “She’s learning [the game of thrones] for sure, and she’s using it against people this season a lot.”

The people who Sansa has learned the most from have been an ally, an enemy and Littlefinger, who is somewhere in between.

“She’s learning that, as she grows, her femininity can be used as something against people as well,” Turner says. “Cersei told her that in Blackwater in Season 2, and she’s learning things like that from Margaery, and she’s gaining all this information. She’s soaking up like a sponge, and people don’t realize that she can easily use that against them. They’re telling her things that they really shouldn’t be telling her if they don’t want her to get her own back.”

While her younger sister Arya Stark wanted to be a warrior, Sansa always wanted to be a queen. She’s learned since Season 1 that her perfect prince, Joffrey Baratheon, is actually a monster, and perhaps learned that her fairy-tale ideals aren’t quite what she’d always hoped they would be.

“If ‘queen’ came without marrying Joffrey, if the Tyrells were the royal family, she’d love to be queen because it’s her childhood dream,” Turner says. “In all circumstances, she has no desire to be queen anymore because she doesn’t want to go through that. Who does?”

“Game of Thrones” Season 4 premieres April 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
