Country legend George Jones died
last Friday (April 26) after a brief hospitalization for a fever and
high blood pressure. A star-studded country music tribute is being held as part of his funeral services Thursday (May 2) at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn.

First Lady Laura Bush, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, former Arkansas
Governor Mike Huckabee, CBS news correspondent Bob Schieffer, the Opry’s
general manager Pete Fisher and country stars Kenny Chesney and Barbara
Mandrell are scheduled to speak at the event.

stars scheduled to perform include Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Patty
Loveless, Brad Paisley, Randy Travis, Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt,
Wynonna Judd, the Oak Ridge Boys, Ronnie Milsap and Tanya Tucker.

The service will
be broadcast on CMT beginning at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT or you can watch the live stream above.
