Raise your hand if you’ve ever worn a hoodie.

Geraldo Rivera‘s insistence that Trayvon Martin was shot to death due to the fact that he was wearing a hoodie (on a rainy night!) set off a media firestorm — and even made his son ashamed of him. “My own son just wrote to say he’s ashamed of my position re
hoodies-still I feel parents must do whatever they can to keep their
kids safe,” Rivera tweeted on Friday.

Still, he wasn’t backing down. In response to President Obama‘s comments on the tragedy, Rivera says, “President Obama says if he had a son he would look like Trayvon- He
could add, and he would never let his son walk around DC in a hoodie.”

On Friday’s episode of “The O’Reilly Factor,” Rivera reinforced his statements. “I’m telling you, half of it is the way the young men look,” he said. “If a cop looks at three kids on the corner, and they’ve got those
hoodies up — and this is where I got in trouble with the Trayvon Martin
case — if they’ve got those hoodies up, and they’re hanging out on the
corner, the cops look at them and say, ‘Hmm, hoodies. Who else wears
hoodies? Everybody that ever stuck up a convenience store, D.B. Cooper,
the guy that hijacked a plane, Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber…'”

…athletes, students, hungover people going out to buy a breakfast sandwich, Green Arrow, and this dangerous deviant:
