Girls-Adam-Hannah-HBO.jpgThis spring, Lena Dunham‘s awesomely awkward HBO half-hour comedy “Girls” took fans of all ages by storm. By the time the finale aired, we were already clamoring for more. Laura Dern‘s series “Enlightened” wrapped its first season in Dec. 2011, and in 2012, she was awarded the 2012 Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical.

Now, HBO has officially confirmed the premiere schedule for new seasons. At Wednesday’s Television Critics Association Press Tour, the network announced that “Girls” and “Enlightened” will both kick off their second seasons in January of 2013.

A specific premiere date has not been announced, but both series are slated for 10 episodes each.
