When 20th Century Fox TV announced its lineup of panels for San Diego Comic-Con 2012, many folks astutely pointed out that “Glee,” one of its flagship shows, was nowhere on the list. Rest easy, Gleeks: “Glee” is going to the Con after all.
Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Naya Rivera and executive producer/co-creator Brad Falchuk will all appear on the show’s panel in the Indigo Room on Saturday, July 14 at 6 p.m.
“The fans at Comic-Con were among the first to really get behind our show, and we’ve had such a great time returning there every summer,” says Falchuk in a statement. “This was the first year our cast has not gone out on tour, so Ryan [Murphy] and I thought we’d let them have some well-deserved time off. But everyone wanted to be there, and we couldn’t be happier to report that ‘Glee’ is returning to the convention where we feel it all started.”
As the FOX press release notes, some of those cast members haven’t been to the convention since its debut in 2009, so it’ll be a nice homecoming of sorts. Falchuk will be on hand to answer show questions (since as we know, it’s hard to get good “Glee” scoop out of the actors).
Joining “Glee” are FOX and FX shows like “Bones,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “American Dad,” “Sons of Anarchy” and more.
Since it’s never too early, let’s start speculating: What do you want to see from Season 4 of “Glee”?
