glee moving to new york full time 'Glee' moving to NYC full time for final season?

“Glee” might look extremely different very soon.

FOX’s musical drama is considering moving its story line to New York City full-time as early as this season, TVLine reports.

“Glee” has been splitting its focus between Lima, OH, and the Big Apple for the past two seasons, but one of the ideas that FOX is discussing with the show creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan in the wake of Cory Monteith’s tragic death back in July is to completely shift the focus of the show to NYC. If the idea is approved, producers would have to decide which characters currently at McKinley High in Lima would join Rachel, Kurt, and Santana in NYC. The show is not expected to move production to the East Coast.

Earlier this month, Murphy teased that he had “a good idea” for the sixth and final season of the series. “I’m going to tell the studio and the network how after Cory’s unfortunate passing we can end the show [in a way] that I think is very satisfactory,” Murphy said. “And kind of in his honor, which I love.”
