We’d like to take a moment and thank the TV Gods for Darren Criss, who has brought some much needed spark back into “Glee” this season. (Hey, we’d feel bad saying that, but even the show’s creator has been bored lately.)
Criss made waves with a cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” performed with the Dalton Warblers – AKA the Tufts Beelzebubs, who must be getting a heck of a thrill out of their new TV roles. Next, he and Chris Colfer made “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” adorable, even though it’s really kind of a creepy song.
In the much buzzed-about Superbowl episode, Criss will take on “Bills, Bills, Bills” by Destiny’s Child, leading us to wonder if anyone else in the Warblers will ever get a chance to sing.
Not that we’re complaining.
