naya rivera glee sectionals 'Glee': U.K. viewers set off 'Trouty Mouth' Twitter trendSince we’re scrutinizing all things British this week, it’s only fitting that we mention which episode of “Glee” aired just days before the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The answer: “Original Song” — the episode in which Mr. Shue asks the New Directions members to write their own songs ahead of regionals. And the U.K. “Glee” following is so strong that “Trouty Mouth” — Santana’s (Naya Rivera’s) original song to Sam (Chord Overstreet) — was trending on Twitter Monday (April 25) afternoon, shortly after the episode aired in England.

In case you forgot, Santana chose a sultry cabaret style to sing these preposterous words to Sam:

Guppy faced trouty mouth
Is that how people’s lips look where you come from in the South?
Grouper mouth, froggy lips
I love sucking on those salamander lips
Wanna put a fishhook in those lips–

The song is, it should be noted, available for purchase at the iTunes store, along with Puck’s “Big A** Heart.”
