Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry are all coming when “Glee” returns in November.

After a baseball-induced hiatus following the melancholy tribute episode, “The Quarterback,” “Glee” will bring the fun. The first episode, “A Katy or a Gaga,” finds the kids trying to discover themselves as artists and singers.

Check out the promo video for “A Katy or a Gaga” here.

What are some of the important things you need to know about the video and the episode?

  • Adam Lambert is in it, of course. And he is very fabulous.
  • Two of the biggest hits of recent months, Lady Gaga’s “Applause” and Katy Perry’s “Roar,” will both be featured in the episode.
  • After a brief detente for grieving and power shifts, Sue and Will are at it again, declaring all-out war on each other. How many times have they done this now?
  • Someone gets dressed as a lion (?). The makeup is so thorough that we can only be certain that the person is male.
  • Kurt and Santana seem to be doing some sort of audition (for a band, maybe?) when they are blown away — possibly literally — by the Glambert of it all.
  • The Apocalypsticks is possibly the greatest band name ever. Why oh why don’t more people listen to Santana?

“Glee” will return after baseball ends its season. “A Katy or a Gaga” airs Thursday, Nov. 7 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
