graceland premiere ratings usa 'Graceland' and 'The Hero' score decent premiere ratings, 'Burn Notice' returns upThe series premieres of “Graceland” on USA and “The Hero” on TNT drew solid if not spectacular ratings Thursday night (June 7).

The final season of “Burn Notice,” meanwhile, opened to a bigger total audience than it did last year. Another TNT series, “72 Hours,” fizzled.

“Burn Notice” drew 4.3 million viewers for its premiere, up from 3.9 million for its Season 6 debut last year. Its adults 18-49 number (1.5 million people in the demographic) was even with last season.

The 70-minute premiere of “Graceland” scored 3.3 million viewers, not far off what “Suits” (3.5 million) drew in the post-“Burn Notice” slot a year ago. About a million of its fell in the 18-49 demo.

A repeat of “Graceland” immediately following the premiere brought in an additional 1.1 million people overall.

On TNT, “The Hero” — a competition show hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — pulled in 1.5 million viewers at 8 p.m. A little over half (855,000) of those viewers fell in the 18-49 demo. Leading off the night on a channel not known for its unscripted programming, that’s not bad.

The same can’t be said for “72 Hours,” which managed only about 830,000 viewers at 9 p.m.
