barbra streisand grammy 2011 getty Grammys 2011: Barbra Streisand slows things down with 'Evergreen'You want to know who doesn’t need egg-wombs, muppets or acrobatic ninjas to bring down the house? Barbra freaking Streisand. Music’s anointed one made a rare appearance on the stage at the Grammys, right after her “A Star Is Born” Kris Kristofferson gave her a sweet little intro.

Streisand, on hand to receive the MusiCares Person of the Year honor, sang the theme from their movie, “Evergreen.” And as much as everyone seemed to enjoy it, we were sort of hoping for something a little more — buoyant? (Fatigue really starts to set in after two hours of kudos and watching Justin Bieber lose.)

We know how she can make it up to us, though.

Next time you find yourself performing on live television, Babs, give DJ duo Duck Sauce a call for a collaboration on their appropriately titled song… “Barbra Streisand.” We’re sure you already listen to it in the shower every morning anyway.
