paul mccartney grammys 2012 Grammys 2012: Paul McCartney's 'My Valentine' performance
For his first performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards, Paul McCartney went the subdued route, sitting on a stool in a tuxedo, while Diana Krall backed him on the piano and Joe Walsh played guitar, to perform “My Valentine.” It was just lovely.

“My Valentine” is his latest single, which he wrote for wife Nancy Shevell and performed at their wedding back in October. Awww. The song is the first single off McCartney’s latest album, “Kisses on the Bottom,” which is a mixture of oldies and new songs, featuring McCarntey reinterpreting tracks made popular by Sam Cooke, Ella Fitzgerald and Danny Kaye.

The album version of “Valentine” includes Eric Clapton on guitar; Stevie Wonder plays on another track from the album, “Only Our Hearts.” The album is available for download and in stores now.
