donald driver retiring from green bay packers gi Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver retiring after 14 seasonsAfter playing his entire career in Green Bay, Wis., Donald Driver is retiring from the NFL. Announced by the Packers in a statement Thursday, Driver ends his career as the franchise’s all-time leader in both receptions and receiving yards.

In the statement, Donald says, “I can think of no better way to retire
than to celebrate with [the fans] and the Packers organization.” Driver will make a formal announcement in a ceremony at the team’s home, Lambeau Field, on February 6.

During his time with the Packers, Driver was able to become a champion at Super Bowl XLV in 2011. Throughout his career he only missed four games, the most recent one last November. Driver is also a “Dancing with the Stars” champion, winning the show’s 14th season with partner Peta Murgatroyd.
