Producer, writer and director Greg Berlanti shows no signs of growing less prolific.

Just three weeks after his legal pilot, “Guilty,” landed at FOX, THR reports the “Everwood” and “No Ordinary Family” creator has sold another drama to CBS.

A cop series, currently called “Golden Boy,” the project follows an ambitious twenty-something detective rising quickly in the ranks. It’s also being described as “The Good Wife” with a young police officer.

Writer Nick Wootten, who got his start on “NYPD Blue” before working on series such as “Chuck,” “Prison Break” and “Law & Order,” will pen the pilot.

CBS gave “Golden Boy” a put-pilot commitment, meaning once the script is in, it will be shot and likely make it to air — lest the network pay significant penalty fees.

“Golden Boy” is the latest project under Berlanti’s apparently fruitful deal with Warner Bros. Television, which will produce alongside his own Berlanti Productions.
