Ellen DeGeneres will be announcing on her talk show Wednesday (May 26) — Hey, that’s the same night as the “American Idol” finale — that she’s starting a new record label, eleveneleven, and … wait for it … the first artist she’s signed is none other than 12-year-old Greyson Michael Chance.

Not that we need to explain, but after a performance of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” that Greyson did for a church talent show in Edmond, Oklahoma hit YouTube it went viral. When it was at 10,000 views, Ellen saw it and booked him on her show. He performed an original song, “Broken Hearts,” collected a $10,000 check and was gifted with a new piano. That was two weeks ago. Now, Greyson’s performance has been viewed 30 million times, he has big name managers and a record deal. “It’s crazy thinking about 30 million people,” Chance says. “It just makes me happy. It really just hasn’t sunken in yet. It has been two weeks and it still hasn’t sunken in yet.
