gwyneth matthew fox Gwyneth Paltrow sings her way on to Matthew Morrison's solo albumNot only are they potentially an item on “Glee,” but Gwyneth Paltrow and Matthew Morrison will team up in the studio for a duet of “Over the Rainbow,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

“I wanted to do a duet with a female,” says Morrison. “I thought that was a good song
to do, and we really did a different arrangement of it. It’s a lot of
strings, and it’s beautiful.”

This won’t be Morrison’s first time singing the song. He played an acoustic version of the Judy Garland “Wizard of Oz” standard on “Glee’s” first season finale.

And this is just the latest in a string of musical gigs for Paltrow. She recently landed her own record deal — a country album due out sometime in 2012. She was also a constant presence on awards show stages this year, singing her “Country Strong” single at the CMAs and the Oscars and teaming up with Cee-Lo Green and a gaggle of Muppets on “Forget You” (which she also sung when guesting on “Glee”) at the Grammys.

Lest you think we are not keeping track of the insouciant one, this is only yet another front in her war for world domination. She’s already an Academy Award-winning actress. She’s also, via her insidious weekly newsletter GOOP, attempting to fashion herself as a 30-something Martha Stewart and influence a younger generation to do things like wear Stella McCartney, self-administer total body detoxes and exercise. As if.
