This is decidedly not a-mah-zing.
In a sad, though not unexpected, move, ABC has canceled underrated single-cam comedy “Happy Endings.” The show, originally on Tuesday nights, was bumped to Fridays this season — never a good sign.
Oddly, ABC launched a “Save Happy Endings” marketing campaign behind the show at the end of its season, hoping to drive more viewers to the show by acknowledging its bubble-status. Obviously, they weren’t satisfied with the results.
Sony TV, the studio behind the ensemble comedy, plans to shop it to other networks. There has already been news of interest from USA, and Sony has previously been successful moving “Cougar Town” from ABC to TBS.
