happy endings 'Happy Endings': Sneak peek at ABC's new relationship comedyA new relationship comedy has joined ABC’s 2010-11 slate — “Happy Endings,” which focuses on a bride and groom who split up at the altar, but must figure out a way to remain close to their shared four best friends.

Created by David Caspe, this single-camera comedy stars Elisha Cuthbert (“24”) and Zachary Knighton (“Flash Forward”) as split couple Alex and Dave, and Eliza Coupe (“Scrubs”), Damon Wayans Jr. (“My Wife and Kids”), Casey Wilson (“Saturday Night Live”) and Adam Pally (“Taking Woodstock”) as the group of shared friends.

Suddenly every event is a negotiation… like, who gets to go on the
annual ski trip? There are a lot of big questions to be answered, but
this group has been together so long, somehow, little by little, they’ll
figure out how to hold on, even though their center is split up. It
helps that Dave and Alex have agreed to stay friends.

But there will
definitely be other complications down the road – like Penny’s (Casey Wilson)
long-suppressed feelings for Dave. What is the waiting period for dating
a friend’s ex? This show isn’t afraid to ask the embarrassing personal
questions that inevitably arise in every long-term, close-knit group of
friends. So check out these preview clips below and let us know if you’ll be having “Happy Endings” in the fall. “Endings” will debut mid-season for ABC.
