rj miles 'Hard Times of RJ Berger': RJ and Miles talk 'The Hangover,' 'Ying 2 ur Wang'While RJ Berger’s (Paul Iacono) love life may be coming together for once, his home life is falling apart. Cue best friend Miles (Jareb Dauplaise) to provide distraction (or at least attempt to) for his distraught pal, as well as a little comedy that centers around something other than a love triangle.

]]>“The Hard Times of RJ Berger,” viewers will continue to be treated to the hilariously uncomfortable romance involving Suzanne (Beth Littleford) and Coach Sinclair (Marlon Young), but we’ll also check in with Miles as he takes on a new extracurricular activity. One that  does not involve crabs this time, but still ends in obvious misfortune. Zap2it has an exclusive first look at the upcoming episode. In it, we see Miles attempt to cheer RJ up with a little joke about “The Hangover.” As they both fall witness to some serious hallway PDA, Miles decides that it’s time, once again, to hit the gym. “My character kind of by this point in the season he’s had it up to about as high as he can stand it looking the way he does,” Dauplaise tells Zap2it. “[Miles] couldn’t get a girl if his life depended on it and of course he blames his weight.” His solution? Join the cheerleading squad. While his new venture will spur some personal drama of his own, Dauplaise tells us that most of the trials and tribulations faced by Miles this season still revolve around keeping his friend hat on.   “Everything that happens to RJ happens to Miles,” he explains. “So it’s like Miles almost has to get the bigger boots on and go back out there and fight those battles for RJ … I think you’re gonna see Miles be the super BFF and try to be there for his friend more than ever right now.” With all that good friend karma, surely writers could hook Miles up with a love interest at some point, right? We asked the actor if there was any chance of a lady friend for his character this season. “It’s definitely what wakes Miles up every day,” he says of Miles’ search for a girlfriend. “Most people get up for a cup of coffee, Miles gets up looking for a significant other. Some girl just to be with some girl to have on his arm and show off to everyone. So if he doesn’t have one by the end of the season, he’ll probably die trying.” Watch the exclusive clip below and tune into “Hard Times” on MTV Monday’s at 10 PM.
