Meet the cast of “Hart of Dixie,” The CW’s new dramedy starring Rachel Bilson as a New York doctor who inherits a practice in a small Alabama town full of quirky characters.
The show’s trailer lays out the circumstances of her arrival in town, and she quickly becomes acquainted with the locals. Flanking Bilson in the Photoshopped cast shot above are, from left, Scott Porter (“Friday Night Lights,” “The Good Wife”), Jaime King (“My Generation”), Wilson Bethel (“Generation Kill”) and Cress Williams (“FNL,” “Grey’s Anatomy”).
Williams plays a character named Lavon Hayes, a former football star who is Zoe Hart’s (Bilson) landlord in Bluebell, Ala. He also escorts her to a party to meet the townsfolk.
Zoe is not exactly welcomed by the doctor (guest star Tim Matheson) who owns the other half of the practice, but that doesn’t keep her from treating patients.
“Hart of Dixie will air at 9 p.m. ET Mondays this fall on The CW.
