Hayley Atwell snaps a selfie with Chris Evans on the Captain America: Civil War setMarvel Studios might prefer all their projects to be kept top secret, but that didn’t stop “Agent Carter” lead Hayley Atwell from crashing the “Captain America: Civil War” set and snapping a bunch of photos of her former co-stars. Sure, they’re all spoiler-free — unless you count the fact that Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie were hardly working on May 29 as a spoiler.

Atwell kicked off her tour of the “Civil War” set on May 28 with a selfie alongside writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeeley.

Three minutes later, she let people stop guessing by tweeting she was on the Marvel movie’s set. She did get a kick out of someone’s answer that she was in front of a wall, though.
The following day a fan really wanted to give Atwell a gift since she was in Atlanta. They ended up crossing paths, and the result was this adorableness.

After that, the juicy part of the tour began. Atwell posted a photo of Captain America himself, Chris Evans, except … he was just playing a board game.

Meanwhile Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon, was enjoying the nice weather under an umbrella.

Seriously, isn’t there a movie to film?!

Atwell, a selfie queen, made sure to snap some shots with the “Civil War” crew members.

And of course posed with Peggy’s one true love, while also revealing he has a secret stash of Muscle Milk.

Can Scarlet Witch do some more weird magic like she did in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” to have these two dance forever and ever?
Marvel hasn’t announced that Atwell is appearing in “Captain America: Civil War,” though Marcus and McFeely previously told Zap2it that they hope the movie explores Peggy’s relationship with young Tony Stark, the son of her SHIELD cohort Howard Stark. That means the actress could be filming a top secret cameo (though clearly not so top secret that she’s not allowed to post photos), or she could just be making a friendly visit to the set.
Though Captain America left Peggy Carter in the past at the end of “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Atwell has remained a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She appeared as an elderly Peggy in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and made a cameo during Cap’s Scarlet Witch-induced vision in “Age of Ultron.”
More importantly, she’s currently the star of her own ABC series, “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” that the network renewed for Season 2. Expect even more adorable set photos to start popping up when that starts filming later in 2015.
“Captain America: Civil War” hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
