LukeGoss20APR08.jpg CROP Luke Goss, who played Prince Nuada in "Hellboy II: The Golden

Army," talks to the Dish Rag exclusively about his role on the Sept 17 season premiere of “Fringe.”

And it was all due to his old pal, John Noble, who plays Dr. Walter Bishop on the show.

Akiva Goldsmith called me at the house and, I swear this

is totally true, he said, 'What do I have to do to get you on the season

premiere of “Fringe?” '

"And I said, 'Well, considering it's you and J.J. Abrams, you

could probably insult me and be really mean and I would still show up and do

One of the best things about the one-day shoot in Vancouver was that Goss got to spend time with Noble.

"We worked together on 'One Night With the King' in India," recalls Goss. "I love him, he’s a real ac-TOR. The 'Fringe' part is written perfectly for him. I know him well. We got drunk on red wine many times, and I can tell he’s really reveling in this role."

Next up for Goss?

Among his many upcoming projects, he will play a protective knight in Gale Ann Hurd's "Magdalena," a film about the descendants of Mary Magdalene, who — naturally — have special evil-fighting powers.

We can't wait. Bet this one is gonna be way more exciting than "The DaVinci Code."
