Showtime has announced two more actors cast in “Homeland” Season 4.
Corey Stoll, who is also headlining FX’s “The Strain,” will guest star as Sandy Bachman, “the CIA Chief of Station in Pakistan and a rising star in the Agency’s firmament.” Hopefully he will fill the void left by the death of Nicholas Brody, be it as Carrie Mathison’s love interest or just as a strong male lead.
Meanwhile, Laila Robins will play series regular Martha Boyd. She is described as “the United States Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is professional and put together, with a ship-to-ship voice and the personality to match.”
“Homeland” Season 4 begins shooting in Cape Town, Africa later in June.
