When building a business in another country, one always has to be very alert. “Hotel Amazon’s” Stephan Jablonski finds this out the hard way on an episode of the Travel Channel show airing Monday, March 30.

In a Zap2it exclusive clip see Jablonski attempt to get out of trouble after he and local employee Juan “the piranha” getting swindled by a woman who promised to lead their boat to shore, but quickly cuts them loose with no explanation. To make matters worse they are then called over by the police to examine their boat for drugs, which Juan thinks may be the reason the woman made such a hasty exit.
Also in the episode, a nationwide gasoline strike stalls construction on the jungle lodge. Jablonski and Juan embark on an epic quest for fuel. Back at the lodge, Rusty Johnson takes over control of the construction crew to build a three-story tree house using traditional jungle methods.
“Hotel Amazon” airs Monday, March 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Travel Channel.
