If you can’t wait until Jan. 12 to see the “House of Lies” cast reunited, Showtime has a special treat for you. “House of Lies Live” is an improvisational comedy special featuring Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz and Josh Lawson, along with Season 3 guest stars Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Gaul and Eugene Cordero. It’s like NBC’s “The Sound of Music Live,” but funny on purpose.
The special features the actors taking suggestions with the audience and creating comedic sketches on the fly. In the preview released by Showtime, men can get pregnant with kittens, which shows about how logical things are going to be.
“House of Lies Live” will premiere online, a Showtime first, on Monday, Dec. 30. It will then air on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET Dec. 31.

Chris E. Hayner is equal parts nerd, crazy person and coffee. He watches too much TV, knows more about pro wrestling than you do and remembers every single show from the TGIF lineup. You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
