iam8bit sequel event Zap2it First: 'The Shining' prequel sitcom and more amazing unmade 'Sequel' posters

If Hollywood was to revisit “The Shining,” what would the finished product look like? For artist Andras Baranyai, it would be a prequel sitcom called “The Torrances.”
Los Angeles art gallery iam8bit asked over 40 artists to design posters for movie sequels that were never made, and the resulting “Sequel” art show has gotten pop culture geeks very excited. Concepts have been created for everything from “Labyrinth 2” to “Hobo with a Shotgun 2: Rip’s Revenge,” as well as the previously mentioned “The Torrances” TV series (see image below).
Over 50 prints will be available for purchase during iam8bit’s Nov. 13 art show (RSVP for free here) and starting Nov. 14 on their online store. For an early tease of what’s in store, check out four prints debuting exclusively on Zap2it below.
