– Sunday’s (Sept. 18) Emmy telecast has added more stars as presenters. They are “The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder, “Glee” lead Lea Michele, Rob Lowe (“Parks and Recreation”), Kaley Cuoco (“The Big Bang Theory”), nominee Melissa McCarthy (“Mike & Molly”) and Don Cheadle (Showtime’s forthcoming “House of Lies”). – Former “24” star Annie Wersching has a trip to Hawaii in her future. She’ll guest-star on an upcoming episode of “Hawaii Five-0,” playing a murder victim’s sister … and potential suspect. [TV Guide]

– TNT will have “Castle” as part of its crime-drama rotation full-time next summer, but it’s getting a jump-start on the off-network deal with an eight-hour marathon Thursday that includes several key episodes from Season 3. “Castle’s” new season debuts on ABC Sept. 19. [TNT]

– “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes has another drama project in the works under her Shondaland banner. She’s executive producing a legal drama from Jenna Bans (“Grey’s,” “Off the Map”) about a defense attorney who starts his own firm after being fired from a bigger one — possibly for being involved in a sinister cover-up. – Ducky (David McCallum) is getting a love interest in the coming season of “NCIS” in the form of former “Charlie’s Angels” star Cheryl Ladd (well done, Ducky). Ladd, who had a recurring part on “Las Vegas” a few years back, will appear in an October episode. [EW]

– Hannibal Lecter may be coming to television. “Pushing Daisies” creator Bryan Fuller is working on a script about a younger Lecter and FBI profiler Will Graham, characters previously seen in the movies “Manhunter” and “Red Dragon.” The project is being produced by French studio Gaumont, which has just launced a U.S. division.
