I hear that…

Jane Fonda will go to Cannes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival for a special as-yet-unannounced event/award being given to honor her late father, Henry Fonda. Jane is the face of L’Oreal Europe and the beauty company is a major sponsor of the festival.  Word is Jane will take her Hollywood hairdresser Matthew Shields along to keep her looking glamorous on the Cote d’Azur.

Five of Fonda’s films have shown at Cannes, including "Metzengerstein," "They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?," "A Doll’s House," "Anna," "Coming Home," "The China Syndrome" and "Old Gringo" in 1989. More news as it develops.

Photo Credits: Will Jane take her adorable pooch — seen the doggie at one of her book signings – to Cannes? Pourquoi pas. Zee French are nutso for dogs and pups can dine with their owners at the finest restaurants.
