Here’s some news that ought to make you feel a little better about whatever you ate today: Jennifer Aniston has cheat days, too.
At the Self magazine book party in honor of her long-time friend and yoga instructor Mandy Ingber‘s new book, “Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover,” on Tuesday (April 30), Aniston revealed to People that she takes a break from her diet every now and then.
“Cheat days for me are usually … it’s either Mexican food … maybe Italian pasta, but I think you always have to do it in moderation,” Aniston said.
The “Friends” alum admitted that, cheat days aside, she and Ingber have changed quite a bit in the course of their 22 year friendship. “We were a lot rounder,” Aniston admitted. “We are terribly. We did that, and then we sort of grew up a little bit more and we got jobs.”
Aniston credits her friend with her spectacular body. “That was always my ‘ugh’, my legs,” she explained. “That’s why I credit her for [them] – with yoga.”
On her end, Ingber mentions that she’s watched her famous friend transform and grow throughout their relationship — and not just on the outside. “It’s hard to say is that yoga or is it as we get older we grow into ourselves, but I’ve seen her become so empowered, so grounded in herself, so comfortable in her own skin,” Ingber said. “I’ve definitely watched that process happen and unfold, and I’m grateful that I’ve gotten to be the observer of that.”
