Jennifer Lopez stops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Wednesday (Jan. 16), where she talks about former boyfriend Ben Affleck winning Best Director at the Golden Globes and how much she misses “American Idol.”

“[‘Argo’] was a great movie. We got a lot of — they were really hard on us in the press when we dated back in the day, on movies and stuff like that,” says Lopez. “It was a nice moment. It was nice to see him have that moment. I was really happy for him.”

As for “Idol,” J-Lo says she’s “missing it so much right now.”

“I miss it, I gotta tell you. I’m happy with everything that I’m doing … but I am gonna miss it. I love the people there. Randy, Ryan, Steven, Nigel, everybody behind the scenes. It was a nice little family,” says Lopez.

As for the rumored Mariah Carey-Nicki Minaj feud, J-Lo laughs and says, “I don’t know. I think I shall not [comment].”

“American Idol” premieres Wednesday night, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
