Before she was an “American Idol” judge and international superstar (and hey, even before she was a Fly Girl on “In Living Color”), Jennifer Lopez got a gig dancing backup for the New Kids on the Block at the 1991 American Music Awards, which Jay Leno delightfully trotted out video of during Monday night’s (May 9) “Tonight Show.”

That is outstanding. Maybe she can cameo on this summer’s NKOTBSB tour.

J.Lo also talks in the interview about her Mother’s Day, which she spent mostly in bed. “I did nothing and I loved it, I loved every minute of it. I stayed in bed … Around 9:30, 10 o’clock, [the twins] come knocking on the door, ‘Happy Mother’s Day!’, they’re 3, each with a rose.”

She also tells Jay about another job she had before she made it big. She was a Notary Public because she worked in a law office. Leno quips, “Someone must have some Jennifer Lopez-signed bankruptcy papers.” She laughs and says, “Somewhere. This is true.”
