Michael-Cera-Jersey-Shore-MTV-Youth-in-Revolt-320.jpgDidn’t we call it? The “Jersey Shore” assimilation is in full swing. Michael Cera, who is a big fan of the show, spent a day with the cast promoting his new film, “Youth in Revolt.” How appropriate.

It’s refreshing that someone famous has fessed up about their addiction to the trashtastic show rather than joining the wave of protests (cough, Alyssa Milano).

According to E! Online, MTV gave Cera carte blanche in using the network’s resources to promote his new film. At the top of his wish list sat the guidos and guidettes of “Jersey Shore.”

Yesterday, Cera shot some MTV promos with the cast that will air during this week’s episode.

While MTV apparently let Cera have his way with them, the cast also took advantage of their new super fan. DJ Pauly D (Paul Delvecchio) gave the star his signature hairstyle: The “blowout.”

So, when will you stage a guido revolt?
