mike sorrentino roast 'Jersey Shore's' Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino falls flat at Donald Trump roastThere was a situation Wednesday night (Mar. 10), but it wasn’t the kind that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino typically enjoys.

The “Jersey Shore” star took the stage to flex his comedic muscles at the taping of Donald Trump’s Comedy Central Roast and frankly, he bombed. We’re not surprised, as the majority of his humor on the “Shore” is totally unintentional. It stands to reason that when making an attempt at humor… it just wouldn’t work.

Us Magazine reports that the crowd booed as the reality star referred to the Donald as “Donald Chump,” called Marlee Matlin “ugly,” Larry King “old,” and Lisa Lampanelli “fat.” Throw in a racist Snoop Dogg joke and Roast-master Jeffrey Ross was forced to intervene.

In typical Situation fashion, Sorrentino was reportedly pleased with his performance.

“My whole career people have been hard on me,” he says. “But I stood there. I got through it, and people actually clapped at the end.”

Fellow roaster Lampanelli spoke with TMZ after the event, saying that she didn’t agree with the audience jeers.

“That I didn’t think was fair,” she says. “I’m mad at that.” Not to say she was impressed with his performance, though.

“When The Situation tanked really bad he came up to us and said ‘That was good, right?’ I should go through life that delusional,” she jokes. “I really wish I loved myself that much.”

So was Sitch funny or not? We’re leaning toward not, but you can see for yourself when the Roast airs March 15 on Comedy Central.
