“Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino may spend his days on GTL (gym tan laundry) and his nights at clubs dodging grenades, but he’s not down with bullying and says so in a new PSA for The Bully Project timed to coincide with the upcoming release of the new Weinstein Company documentary “Bully.”
Although he doesn’t recount any personal anecdotes, Vinny tells viewers that over 13 million American kids will be bullied this year, causing them to be absent from school three million times out of fears for their safety.
“Parents, teach your kids to accept people for who they are and to stand up for other people,” says Guadagnino. “There are many ways to help, from standing up in school to teaching acceptance and love.”
The unrated film “Bully” opens March 30.
