Katie Couric‘s syndicated talk show has lined up a fairly impressive roster of guests for its first weeks on the air.
“Katie” will launch Sept. 10 with guests Jessica Simpson and Sheryl Crow. Simpson is sitting for her first TV interview since giving birth to daughter Maxwell in May. She’ll talk about motherhood and the travails of losing baby weight while the Internet snarks at her, among other things.
Crow, who wrote and performs the theme song for “Katie,” will talk for the first time about her recently diagnosed brain tumor.
Other guests for the early weeks of the show include Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, “Fifty Shades of Grey” author E L James and Demi Lovato. Couric’s second show will feature Aimee Copeland, a college student who’s recovering from losing parts of her limbs to flesh-eating bacteria earlier this year.
Couric, whose show will air on a a lot of ABC stations, will also be a guest on “The Chew” on Sept. 10.
“Katie” premieres in syndication on Monday, Sept. 10. Check your local listings for times.
