Rob Lowe is tied to “Parks and Recreation,” and the other actor most frequently mentioned in the rumor mill, John Stamos, says that A) no one has actually approached him about joining the CBS comedy, and B) he doesn’t really want to anyway.
“It’s all been very flattering — I’m very flattered that people think I’d be able to replace [Sheen],” Stamos said Friday morning (March 11) on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show. But nothing formal has come in.”
And even if something did come across the table, Stamos says he’s not looking to become a regular on an established series: “It’s not part of my career plan right now. I’m just on a different trajectory. … I’m ready to have my own show. My head isn’t going into replacing somebody.”
Stamos also tells Seacrest that he’ll do “one or two” more episodes of “Glee” this season, and he’s also guesting on “Law & Order: SVU” in April.
