Looks like John Travolta’s current sexual assault accuser tally’s remaining at three after all. The actor’s first accuser, only known as John Doe No. 1, was dropped by his attorney, Okorie Okorocha, on Friday (May 11) after the date of his alleged encounter with Travolta in Los Angeles didn’t match up with records of the actor’s whereabouts. But John Doe’s been scooped up by another lawyer — famous civil rights attorney Gloria Allred.
“I represent John Doe No. 1. Mr. Doe’s lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice, which means that he is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses,” Allred tells RadarOnline.com. “We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take. Our client and our firm has no further comment at this time.”
Okorocha formally filed a motion to dismiss the $2 million lawsuit against Travolta on Tuesday. However, Okorocha is still representing John Doe No. 2, another unnamed masseur alleging that Travolta sexually assaulted him during a massage.
Any bets on how much longer this whole thing can be drawn out?
