josh romney car accident tweet Josh Romney's car crash rescue tweet earns online backlashJosh Romney, middle son of 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney, has come under fire for a tweet he posted following a Thanksgiving Day rescue operation at the scene of an accident.

“Today” reports that a family of four crashed an SUV into a Utah house on Thanksgiving night due to a medical emergency that the driver experienced. Luckily, all of the passengers and occupants of the house are OK.

But Romney’s tweet of the above picture, captioned, “Was first on scene to big accident, see pic of car in the house. I lifted 4 people out to safety. All ok. Thankful,” has received a mix reaction on Twitter.

Users write things like “Glad you was able to help them” and “He did a great thing.” However, others were outraged he would use the accident as a photo opportunity.

“His altruism is bested only by his humility,” writes one user. Another says, “Are U serious? Posing w/a wrecked car in a wrecked house? WTF are you thinking?” and a third just calls it “tacky.”

What do you think, readers? Tacky to post about the good deed or not?
