It pays to do what you love — at least for these lucky (and talented) musicians.
]]>has released their annual list of the 25 highest paid musicians
in the world, complete with a few staples and some fresh faces thrown in
the mix, as well. U2 takes the cake with hefty $195 million, earning
them the No. 1 spot on the list, thanks in large part to an
international stadium tour.
Trailing not far behind are fellow rockers Bon Jovi at $125 mil, with Elton John rounding out the top three at $100 mil.
On the pop front, Lady Gaga earned herself $90 mil while Justin Bieber,
the youngest on the list, took home $53 mil. Taylor Swift, Katy Perry
and Rihanna all made the cut, as well.
Worth noting are the King and Queen of R&B, Jay-Z and Beyonce,
pulling in a combined income of $72 mil. This marks the first year since
their 2008 wedding that Jay-Z has out earned his lady — though to be
fair, he only recently came out of retirement.
Check out the full list below. We were pleasantly surprised to find
newlywed Michael Buble so high on the list. Are you shocked by any of these earnings?
