Proving how far one can come in a decade, Justin Timberlake takes top fashion honors in the new issue of GQ magazine.
The star who used to match his outfits with then-girlfriend Britney Spears (remember that denim-clad duo?) was praised by GQ for his ability to target trends such as hats, three-piece suits, skinny ties and beards. Amazing, isn’t it?
He also managed to look pretty darn hot in a leotard in Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” "SNL" video.
Timberlake, 28, is more than just a singer-dancer-performer.
He also launched his own clothing line, William Rast, in October 2006, with sportswear worn by ex-squeeze Cameron Diaz (or she used to…), Paris Hilton and Eddie Murphy.
In GQ, Timberlake credits his style sense to his banker step, Paul Harless, who laid his suit for the next morning the night before and always went to work looking "like Richard Gere in ‘[American] Gigolo,’ " Timberlake recalls. "I was like, I want to dress like that! He was just so cool.”
Well, now you’re cool too.
