Aretha Franklin is recovering following surgery on Thursday (Dec. 2). Thing is, no one seems to know what the surgery was for. Of her mystery procedure, the 68-year-old says, “The surgery was highly successful.” Whatever her affliction is, she may be in recovery for a while as all performances have been canceled through May. With one in 110 children being diagnosed with autism, 110 celebs including, Steve Carrell, Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Peyton Manning and Mitchell Musso are getting involved with Autism Speaks to help the cause. The organization has launched Puzzlebuilder, a social networking-based fundraising campaign to help solve the puzzle of autism. Mr. Fergie, also known as Josh Duhamel was booted from his flight leaving the New York (LGA) airport. Duhamel reportedly refused turn off his BlackBerry after being asked three times. According to a fellow passenger, he was “very rude” and “taunting the attendant.” According to Duhamel’s rep, the actor says “he’s sorry.” [TMZ]
