The Mirror reports that Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are opening the doors of their official London home for a close encounter with some of its less famous residents… the ghosts.
Kensington Palace is will host four nights of ghost tours during Halloween weekend, Oct. 28 through Oct. 31, as a part of what the official royal website calls “Eerie Evening Tours of Enchanted Palace.”
Running 20 (about $33) for admission, the tours promise centuries’ worth of spooky history. And according to reports from the warders’ log book, “scrams, bumps and ghostly sightings” have been commonplace since the residence was first purchased by King William III and wife Mary in 1689.
The Duke and Duchess currently live full time on the Welsh island of Anglesey, but recently chose William’s childhood home with mother Diana as their London residence.
He clearly apparently doesn’t find the ghosts too scary.
