Italian magazine Chi became the third European publication Monday (Sept. 17) to publish topless photos of Kate Middleton. The mag published a 26-page spread of the grainy paparazzi photos of Prince William’s bride sunbathing in France.
Chi is owned by the same company that owns French magazine Closer, the first to publish the pictures. The Irish Daily Star also later ran the photos.
The Italian mag’s spread, accompanied by the headline “The Queen is Nude,” includes at least one photo that has not appeared in the other publications.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are attempting to stop further publication of the photos, and according to the Associated Press, a French court will rule on the couple’s request Tuesday. William and Kate’s lawyer, Aurelien Hamelle, says Monday that the couple was sharing a “healthy and profoundly intimate” moment when a paparazzo took the pictures.
