So can we expect them to follow in the footsteps of contemporaries like the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys and reunite, even temporarily? Probably not.
“To be honest with you — myself, Michelle and B — we haven’t talked about it,” DC founding member Kelly Rowland tells Billboard. “It has not come up in our conversations. We talk about everything else… But we haven’t talked about that yet.”
That might have something to do with the success they’re finding on their own. Rowland’s third solo album, “Here I Am,” dropped July 26. And Beyonce is, well, Beyonce. But what of Michelle Williams? The lack of attention on the third member is sort of a sour spot with Rowland.
“What kind of angers me a bit is just the fact that Michelle is in Destiny’s Child, too, and respect her and know that it’s three of us,” she says. “It’s not two.”
