“Terra Nova” alum Christine Adams wasted no time in the wake of the show’s cancellation to sign on to a new pilot, ABC’s “Americana,” the family soap focusing on fashion designer Robert Soulter (Anthony LaPaglia). Adams will play Robert’s wife Sierra, a former supermodel.

TNT’s pilot “LA Noir” has cast Jeremy Strong as the mob boss’ right-hand man, on a show that tells the true story of the long-time conflict between the LAPD and Mickey Cohen’s mob organization. [Deadline]

Greg Germann (“Ally McBeal,” “House of Lies”) as signed to co-star with Mary McCormack on ABC’s comedy “The Unprofessional.” The show is about a high-powered female executive (McCormack) who finds herself unemployed and a full-time mom to her two teenagers.
