ace frehley kiss home foreclosure gi KISS founder Ace Frehley's home facing foreclosure report

Rock and roll legend Ace Frehley may soon lose his home. The KISS founder is being accused of not paying his mortgage, the Journal News reports. The bank that holds the mortgage, U.S. Bank National Association, says the rocker stopped paying the bill nearly two years ago, on March 1, 2011.
According to the foreclosure filing, submitted on February 15, Frehley owes over $700,000 on the Yorktown, N.Y. home’s mortgage, and the bank is looking to sell the house to recoup some of the costs. The home was originally purchased by Jendell Productions, before being transferred to Frehley’s name. “Jendell” is the name of the fictional planet Frehley’s “Spaceman” persona was from.
Ace, real name Paul, rose to fame as lead guitarist for the rock group KISS, well-known for their extravagant concerts, and layers of makeup. He left the band in 1982, before returning in 1995. He departed again following the band’s “farewell” tour in 2000, but returned for a special show that closed the 2002 Winter Olympics.
While Frehley has explored a solo career during his time away from KISS, the band continues to perform over a decade after their farewell tour.
