With all of the selfies and snaps of herself that Kylie Jenner posts to Instagram, it was only a matter of time before she posted one that offended her followers. Unfortunately for Jenner, it isn’t about a outfit choice, it’s for being accused of posing in blackface.

On Saturday (April 4), the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star posted a picture of herself from a recent photo shoot where she appears to be wearing dark, shimmery makeup. The photo read, “What I wish I looked like all the time.” Upon posting of the image, critics took to Instagram and Twitter to callout Jenner for going blackface.

However, after quickly removing the image with the original caption, Jenner posted yet another picture from the shoot to respond to haters and to clarify why she looks the way she does in the photo. She wrote, “This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down.” She also responded to the backlash on Twitter.

Wanting to have the last word, Jenner followed up all of her tweets and posts with a “goodnight” photo for all of her fans.
