The “Good Morning America” summer concert series had a real treat Friday (May 27) in Central Park when Lady Gaga
stopped by swung in via zipline to entertain the thousands of fans jammed into the park. Her set kicked off with “Bad Romance,” then Gaga sat down with Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos.
When asked about her new album, Gaga says, “‘Born This Way’ is about being yourself and loving who you are and being proud … I hope that what you take away from my album is not just the music, which I did want to be fun and I did want it to be about individuality, but please also take away from it that there’s no dream that’s too big.”
She also says of her recent Most Power Entertainer title via Forbes, “I guess I never thought about that part of it, I always just thought about the music part … the word ‘power’ makes me very uncomfortable. I just want to do the right thing and I want to be a voice with [the fans], among them.”
Gaga then had a costume change and graced the screaming throngs with “The Edge of Glory,” “Judas,” “Born This Way” and “Hair.”
