At a "Body of Lies" news conference in Rome on Wednesday, Leonardo DiCaprio admitted that he was a little short on sleep after staying up all Tuesday night watching the results of the U.S. presidential election.
"I couldn’t be more proud of my country right now, proud to be an American," he said. "And I think the entire world was looking for a transition like this."
The longtime environmental activist hopes President-elect Barack Obama will have a stronger environmental agenda than the Bush administration.
“Predominantly, the Democrats have had a far superior environmental agenda than the Republicans," Leo said. "And you probably couldn’t create a worse one than the last administration if you tried.”
He gives the Bush administration ‘lower than an F’ grade for it’s environmental policies.
Is Leo right?
