FOX will offer up a blend of reality mainstays — including a new season of “So You Think You Can Dance” — as well as a couple of scripted shows in the summer.
The lineup will also include the season finale of “Glee” in June, a “mix of encores and originals” from the network’s Sunday comedy block, the return of “Lie to Me,” new scripted series “The Good Guys” and another season of “Hell’s Kitchen.”
“The Good Guys” (formerly “Code 58”), a buddy-cop show starring Bradley Whitford and Colin Hanks and created by “Burn Notice’s” Matt Nix, will get a preview before “American Idol” on Wednesday, May 19, then move to 9 p.m. ET Mondays beginning June 7. It will be paired with “Lie to Me,” which will pick up its second season at 8 o’clock June 7.
“So You Think You Can Dance” will kick off with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, May 27, then settle into its Tuesday-Wednesday pattern starting June 1. The end of “Glee’s” season will also bleed into the summer, with the finale scheduled for June 8.
“Hell’s Kitchen” debuts Thursday, June 10 and will air two-hour episodes throughout the summer. FOX will also burn off the remaining episodes of “Past Life” on Fridays beginning May 28, then turn the night over to repeats of “Bones” and “House.”
